IELTS has two modules: Academic and General Training. Academic Module is for students seeking entry to a university or institution to pursue their higher education in English medium whereas, General Training Module is mostly take by individuals for immigration purpose. Also, the professionals seeking a job in an English speaking country are normally advised to General Training Module.
